You'll travel from the visitor center to Kilauea crater for panoramic views of the smoking caldera and steaming volcanic vents, and walk inside iconic Nahuku (Thurston Lava Tube). This custom private tour starts at the Hilo Port or any Hilo location. You will see the Best of the Volcanoes National Park, Rainbow Falls, and whatever else will fit in the 7 hours of time! For other optional stops, see below. Many people skip Punalu'u due to the long drive to see more of the National Park.

This is a 7-7.5 Hour tour we guarantee to get you back on the Ship on time. We can provide boosters for children 4 and over if given advanced notice.

This is a custom, private tour starting on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii. Some of the suggested sights include: Rainbow Falls, drive thru a rainforest, Akaka Falls, lava tube exploration (flashlights provided), black sand beach and Coconut Island. Time permitting, we could even drive to Pahoa to see the 2018 lava flow.

Being a private tour means there is no set itinerary. It is my goal to send you home with a sense of wonder after visiting this gorgeous island.
