Extreme Lava Hike to See Flowing Lava

This is a fully guided small group  hike to see the entry of lava into the ocean and possibly liquid flowing lava up close and personal.  
This tour is not for the faint of heart and involves extensive hiking 4.5 miles in and 4.5 miles out. But it is definitely your best chance to see lava flowing and lava breakouts from Pu'u O'o vent on Kilaueau crater. The narrated tour also includes Saddle Road, Mauna Kea State Park, the 1984 lava flow from Mauna Loa, Hilo highlights and Rainbow Falls. Experience lava flows into Pahoa (2014), Kaimu Black Sand Beach, and Kalapana. Hikeapproximately 10 miles, mostly along coastal evacuation roads to see the lava flows, then up across very recent lava to look for potential breakouts of flowing lava with your experienced guide where a picnic style dinner on the lava is included.

Triple Crater Hawaii Volcano Hiking Adventure

Deluxe Volcano Glow Tour with Lava Waterfall and Dinner

This is a fully guided small group charter tour or hike to see the highlights of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and various sights via Mercedes Benz Luxury Van with a local guide.  Since it's a charter, you choose from the menu of highlights you'd like to see and we do out best to maximize your time. Because the Volcano is the most popular destination, we typically try to see Rainbow Falls, Downtown Hilo, Big Island Candies, and then head up to the volcano to spend the bulk of the time in the Park. Lava Expedition From Hilo

There is nothing quite as spectacular as seeing red molten lava, and nobody takes you to where the action is quite like KapohoKine Adventures! Join us as we take you on a thrilling discovery of Kilauea Volcano. We’ll take you to the Puna District on the Big Island’s East-side, our home and home to the best lava viewing locations.  We’ll drive as close as we safely can before setting off on foot to find the most recent surface outbreaks and ocean entries. Next we travel to the only winery in Hawaii for a wine and tea tasting tour before a delicious BBQ dinner. After dinner, we enter the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to view another active crater below the Jaggar Museum. We provide military-grade flashlights, walking sticks, sunblock, dinner and drinks.  Bring a light jacket, closed toe shoes, and long pants. We do our best to find molten lava on every tour, but due to the constantly changing nature of the eruption seeing molten lava cannot be guaranteed.
