Kona Offshore Adventures
Cruise along the spectacular Kona coastline in our 32 ft power catamaran, enjoying the electric blue Hawaiian waters, while your crew informs you of the rich Hawaiian culture and legends, Observe the playful Pacific spinner dolphins as they surf the bow wake while living up to their names by flipping and spinning putting on an amazing display. Your swim guide will give you a detailed briefing on how to enter the water and use your snorkel gear. You will get to observe the wonders of the beautiful Hawaiian reefs and all the colorful marine life ,as well as the dolphins swimming nearby.

Exploring the Big Island’s Kona Coast on Captain Zodiac’s 24-foot “RIBs” is the experience of a lifetime! For 38 years, Captain Zodiac has introduced visitors to an array of natrure’s secret wonders that can only be experienced in a Zodiac Raft. The small group atmosphere of our expedition allows for a personal and intimate tour. Your captains/naturalists will tell stories of Hawaiian history and culture, island geology, and many marine species that you will encounter - and, for purposes of this trip, that will mainly be spinner dolphins. If the conditions are right you'll get to meet them up close and personal, in the water!

Exploring the Big Island’s Kona Coast on Captain Zodiac’s 24-foot “RIBs” is the experience of a lifetime! For 38 years, Captain Zodiac has introduced visitors to an array of natrure’s secret wonders that can only be experienced in a Zodiac Raft. The small group atmosphere of our expedition allows for a personal and intimate tour. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, site of the Captain Cook monument. These highly maneuverable, military Zodiacs can get you close up to the many lava tubes, sea caves and blow holes of this rugged coastline. Keep a sharp eye, for you will see and encounter pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles and (from December to April) humpback whales! Your captains/naturalists will tell stories of Hawaiian history and culture, island geology, and many marine species that you will encounter.
Hilo Bay Banana Boat Rides
Our newest and most exciting tour we have added is our exhilarating Banana Boat Rides!!! A unique, fun experience for almost all ages! Come explore Hilo Bay and the surrounding waters from the thrill of a speedy banana boat with up to 5 others. Banana boats accommodate up to six passengers, so rides are guaranteed to be a personal, unique experience with your friends and family. You'll have tons of fun on a ride tailored to your group, whether they want a wild or a mild time on the water. You'll blast around Hilo Bay in the calm protected waters around Coconut Island and Reeds Bay with spectacular views in the distance of the Hamakua Coast and Mauna Kea Crater. Life jackets are provided and required to be worn by all passengers. Your banana boat ride lasts 30 minutes, and you will have a time of your life on this thrill ride! You may even run into some friendly local dolphins that want to join in on all the fun or catch a glimpse of a manta ray jumping out of the water!
Private Charter
This is a private luxury charter for up to 6 passengers so there is never a crowd and you will be able to enjoy your very own private boat for the trip. You can snorkel a pristine reef and do a little offshore fishing if you like. We provide a USCG licensed captain and a swim and snorkel guide who is CPR trained and lifeguard certified for your peace of mind and safety. You are permitted to bring any snacks or food as well as adult beverages to enjoy after all of your in water activities are completed. Please bring the proper sun protection such as sun glasses, hats and a towel are always recommended.
Whale Watching Experience
This is a 3-4 hour seasonal sightseeing and informational tour. The season starts December the 1st through March. You will be able to go swimming or for a snorkel on a pristine reef. You will see whales but remember this is seasonal but we often see the whales everyday. You will arrive at Honokohau small boat harbor and look for our boat at the north boat ramp or meet us under the shade at the small brow building. We encourage you to use the restrooms prior to our departure.
Romance Cruise
This is a couples afternoon romance cruise , you will arrive at Honokohau small boat harbor and enjoy a peaceful and romantic cruise enjoying the majestic Kona coastline. You will have a USCG licensed captain and you will have adult beverages such as beer and Mai-Tai's.
