Depart from the Kailua Kona Pier at 9 am for your approx 3 -3.5 hr ocean adventure on your Zodiac vessel that holds up to 16 passengers.

**While most of the time we depart at 9:00 am, there are some dates we must adjust departure time in order to accommodate cruise ship guest according to their ship itinerary ***

IMPORTANT: On this tour, we used to snorkel with the wild dolphins. As of 2021 The Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) is now being enforced and swimming with wild dolphins is now considered harassment. We will still be able to go encounter the dolphins at a safe distance but will not be able to enter the water with them.

Wild Spinner Dolphins,

Hawaiian Sea Turtles, and

exotic fish.  Spend approximately one hour at

Kealakekua Bay enjoying the reef and sea caves. Your lunch is also included consisting of a deli wrap, fresh fruit, chips, granola bars, juice, and water.  All snorkel gear and flotation devices are included.

Hike to one of the Big Island's most active lava fields. Enjoy the sight of glowing lava and even get close enough to feel its heat and poke a stick in it. This guided tour is for outdoor adventurers ready to gear up and hike over uneven surfaces to see a once-in-a-lifetime sight. Walking sticks and flashlights are included. The hike times changes due to the natural occurring event. The hike is usually around 4-5 miles (7-8 kilometers) round trip.

While you’re in port in Kona, get a taste of Big Island history and culture on this shore excursion. Learn about the history of Kona at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park – an ancient Hawaiian place of refuge for law breakers. Visit Saint Benedict’s Painted Church, where Belgian-born priest Father Velghe painted colorful biblical scenes on the walls of the church. Finish your day at Royal Kona Coffee and sample a delicious Kona cup of joe.

Shared Volcano Shore Excursion with up to 10 guests maximum from Your Ship

This is a shared Shore Excursion with up to 10 guests from your ship.  This tour runs 6 to 6.5 hours.

Your guide will pick you up from the Hilo Cruise Port and take you directly to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to try and get ahead of the big bus tours.

As a certified Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Guide you will enjoy short walks and learning all about the Volcano.  Besides the volcano Park you will see an orchid farm, Macadamia Farm where you can purchase a lunch and enjoy samples and macadamia ice cream.  Also on the tour is Rainbow Falls.  On the way to the last stop the black sand beach you will drive past a 30 acre garden named after the last queen of Hawaii and also Banyan drive with lots of very old banyan trees.

Your guide will then return you to your ship.
