Maui Arts & Cultural Center

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center is a place for people of all ages to experience the arts. The center was established in 1994 as a gathering place for artists in the community. Today, their goal is to promote the arts and encourage community members to broaden their horizons by appreciating, creating, and learning about art.

They host music concerts, dance performances, spoken word events, and visual art exhibits. Their facility includes many theaters and performance spaces, including the 5,000-seat outdoor Alexander & Baldwin Amphitheater and the 1,200-seat indoor Castle Theater. There are several events every week, including comedy shows, vocal performances, and theatrical performances.

The center also provides educational resources for both children and adults. They host workshops and classes for all types of art, and more than 1,200 teachers have visited the center to learn artistic teaching strategies. Their office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays, and visitors can call to learn more about the center's performances and classes.
